MOTION NO. 6

MOTION: Councillor E. Walsh

"That the Manager examine the bus turning bay at Limekiln Avenue with a view to increasing capacity to accommodate the greater number of buses now using it and parking on it and to make arrangements to repair kerbing damaged caused by buses passing out each other in the bay and damaging the grass area."

REPORT:

If the motion is approved, the matter will be forwarded to Dublin Bus requesting their proposals for any revisions to this bus terminus.

There is no provision for funding in the 2008 programme for any works associated with Dublin Bus facilities. If works are requested, Roads Department will arrange for quotations for the scheme and will request the necessary funding from Dublin Bus.
