QUESTION: Councillor M. Ardagh

"To ask the Manager when the reconstruction of the new footpaths, kerbs and gullies will commence in front of Nos. 2 - 18 Hillsbrook Avenue?"

REPLY:

Details of a proposed new access road including new footpaths kerbs and gullies, for the houses in question was forwarded to the residents in 2007. There was disagreement among the residents in regard to the layout. Roads Department have modified the drawing and will again forward details to the residents for their information. The drawing will also be forwarded to the Members. It is proposed to carry out the works in 2008.
