Policy to Address Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards in the County

The forthcomming review of the County Development Plan will incorporate the outcome of an examination of the role of the Council and its policies in respect of Energy Efficiency.  It is anticipated that this will extend to Housing, Transport and Employment policies and objectives to ensure the application of the most appropriate standards in all new development.   This may be extended to be incorporated in to a Climate Change Strategy for the County.
