QUESTION: Councillor J. Neville

" To ask the Manager for a detailed update on proposals for the site at Homelawn Villas, as raised on previous occasions by this Councillor?"

REPLY:

The area in question, at Homelawn Villas was examined by Architectural Services Department in 1999 to see if it was feasible to construct houses on it following reports of anti-social behaviour there. It was found not to be feasible to develop as only a small portion of the land was in Council ownership.

However, the remaining part of the site has now being transferred to the Council and is currently in the process of being registered. Architectural Services department have been asked to examine the expanded site to see if it is possible to develop it.
