MOTION NO 10

MOTION: Councillor E. Maloney

That this Committee requests the Parks Dept., to demand from the developer a date for the completion of the re-instatement work at the public open space at Greenhills Road / Bancroft Court.

REPORT:

The Parks Department has been in contact with the developer responsible for service installations in the area of public open space at Bancroft Park. 

The developer had engaged a landscape contractor to carry out the reinstatement works as soon as weather conditions were favourable. It has now transpired that the landscape contractor engaged by the developer was unable to carry out the works. 

The developer is currently in the process of engaging a new contractor to carry out the works as soon as possible under the supervision and to the satisfaction of the Parks Department.
