MOTION NO 9.

MOTION: Councillor J. Hannon

That the public open space at Ballycullen Road/Firhouse Road junction be placed under regular cutting and maintenance, as it is overgrown and, consequently, subject to dumping and anti-social activity.

REPORT:

Arrangements will be made by the Parks Department to have the open space at this location placed under regular grass cutting.

During the grass cutting season the location will be cut as frequently as possible, which varies from 12 to 18 days between cuts depending on weather conditions, staff availability, machinery breakdown etc.
