QUESTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"To ask the Manager to organise a clean up of litter from Scholarstown Roundabout to Superquinn Knocklyon and to provide litter bins that are serviced along this very busy pedestrian route?"

REPLY:

The cleansing section of the Environmental Services Dept has been asked to arrange the clean up of the area mentioned, from the Scholarstown Roundabout to the Knocklyon shopping centre.  The engineer in charge has been asked to examine the need for litter bins in the same area and arrange for their provision and servicing as is found necessary.
