QUESTION: Councillor C. Brophy

"To ask the Manager to outline the current status in relation to the Part 8 housing on Taylors Lane and to provide information on any communications received in relation to this from the Department of the Environment?"

REPLY:

A draft cost plan for the construction of 9 homes was submitted to the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government for approval on 14^th March 2008.

Discussions have since taken place between the Councils Architects Department and the Department’s Inspector in matters of a technical nature regarding the scheme. Budget Cost approval is awaited.
