MOTION NO 7.

MOTION: Councillor C. Jones

That this Committe requests, in light of the Capital Programme, that an update be given as to the stance of the development of the public park in the Kiltipper area.

REPORT:

The development of Kiltipper Park on a phased basis is included in the proposed works under the 2008 – 2010 Capital programme of works as presented to the Council.

As decided at the special Council meeting of 7^th April 2008 the draft programme together with the development briefs for the proposed disposal of sites to fund same will now be presented to each of the relevant Area Committees, following which the matter will again be considered by the Council.
