COMHAIRLE CONTAE ÁTHA CLIATH THEAS
SOUTH DUBLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
MEETING OF TALLAGHT AREA COMMITTEE (1)
Monday, April 21, 2008
QUESTION NO 9.
QUESTION: Councillor K. Warren
“To ask the Manager to provide a proper tarmacadam path on the open space in Kilnamanagh between Elmcastle and Tamarisk, adjacent to Tamarisk Lawns, as the existing pedestrian pathway becomes flooded once it rains, if this project could be included in this year’s programme, and if he will make a statement on the matter.”
REPLY:
As the 2008 Parks Annual Works Programme, presented at the Tallaght Area Committee Meeting on the 21 January 2008 is fully committed, the location will be considered for inclusion in the 2009 programme.
Remedial works will be carried at the locations prone to flooding during the summer months when weather conditions are favourable.
