MOTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"That the Council consider the provision of dog-litter bins and "pooper-scooper" bags, as Fingal County Council has."

REPORT:

The Environmental Services Department supplies “poopscoops” to members of the public who request them. The provision of dog-litter bins has not yet been implemented by this Council, however, the matter is being investigated by the Senior Engineer taking into account the health and safety aspects of handling/processing receptacles for hazardous materials such as dog waste.
