COMHAIRLE CONTAE ÁTHA CLIATH THEAS
SOUTH DUBLIN COUNTY COUNCIL
MEETING OF TERENURE-RATHFARNHAM AREA COMMITTEE (2)

QUESTION NO 13.
QUESTION: Councillor E. Walsh
"To ask the Manager if he is aware of a possible encroachment into Tymon North Park at a location near Rushbrook (*details supplied) and will he clarify the issue?"
REPLY:
Correspondence was received by the Council some years ago from the residents of 14 Rushbrook Crescent inquiring about the possibility of acquiring a small triangle of land with the purpose of straightening their garden boundary.
However, the Council’s Development Department have stated that the Council did not have Title to the land and the land was not subject to a Deed of Dedication, therefore the Council was not in a position to consider disposal of the plot.
The applicants made no further contact with the Council regarding the matter and the Parks Department has noted that the plot of land in question has been incorporated into the side garden of the property.
This matter will be further pursued with the Council’s Development Department.
