QUESTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"To advise the owner of (Address supplied:  Scholarstown House, Scholarstown Road), the boundary wall of his house is severly cracked at its location near the local shops at the entrance to the estate and may pose a public safety hazard?"

REPLY:

The Dangerous Structures Inspector has been asked to report on this premises as a matter of urgency, and to assess whether Scholarstown House constitutes a danger to the public.

 As soon as the Inspector returns his report, the appropriate action if any, will be taken.
