QUESTION: Councillor K. Warren

To ask the Manager to confirm that Kilakee Estate, Carriglea Estate and Carrigwood Estate in Firhouse have all been included in the Restoration Maintenance Grant for 2008 under the Road Works Programme, and if he could set out in each of the above mentioned areas, the proposed expenditure by the Roads Department and the nature of the work in each case, and if he will make a statement on the matter.

REPLY:

Funding for the resurfacing of the Kilakee Estate has been provided in the 2008 Department of Transport Restoration Maintenance programme. Resurfacing to the Carriglea and Carrigwood estates was carried out in 2007 and further remedial works will be carried out in 2008.
