QUESTION: Councillor K. Warren

To ask the Manager if he will recognise the deep frustration of residents who live in Vershocyle, Saggart Abbey, in connection with the failure on the part of the developer who has built Citywest Shopping Centre to meet in full landscaping and other issues which were clearly outlined in the original Planning Application, and if he could specify exactly when the open area of land between Verschoyle Drive and the Shopping Centre would be landscaped to the satisfaction of South Dublin County Council, as intended in the original Planning Application, and if he will make a statement on the matter.

REPLY:

This matter will be referred to the Planning Inspector and any necessary enforcement action will be undertaken.  The Councillor will be kept informed in this regard.
