MOTION: Councillor T. McDermott

"That this committe discuss, with the aid of a detailed report from the Manager, the current status and future plans for construction of the Council's integrated housing development at Stocking Lane, Ballycullen, Co. Dublin."

REPORT:

The Travellers Residential Caravan Park is on site.

The development of 100 units (reduced from 103 at part 8 process) has been through the part 8 process and documentation is being prepared for cost plan submission to the Department of the Environment, Heritage and Local Government.

The Boherboy water main scheme goes through the site and Architectural Services are presently in discussions with Environmental services Department regarding drainage works.

The project is likely to commence in March 2008 with an expected construction period of 18 months.
