QUESTION: Councillor M. Corr

To ask the Manager to review the Oxigen collection for Daletree Crescent, the collection is currently being carried out in the evening time which is inconvenient to residents in this area and to arrange to have the green space outside *details supplied to be reinstated after its destruction by the Oxigen freighter on the 22nd of January last - this area has been left in a terrible state despite calls by residents to Oxigen who do not appear to have responsibility in relation to this?

REPLY:

The resbonsibility for re-instating the area concerned will be discussed with Oxigen's representatives at a scheuled meeting next week but an undertaking has already been received from the company that such an incident will not occur again .  Additionally, the question of re-arranging the collection time for the Daletree Crescent has been raised with the Driver Manager and will also be discussed but it should be noted that the collection requirements of the County are such that the times must necessarily be staggerred throughout the working day.
