QUESTION: Councillor M. Corr

To ask the Manager to report on the success or otherwise of the handcart service provided in the Kiltalown/Jobstown Village core - indicating by map the area the service covers and stating the frequency of the service?

REPLY:

Kiltalown and Cloonmore Estates are cleaned as part of this service provided by the Jobstown handcart man.  This involves the cleaning a core area of Fortunestown Road and  Kiltalown on a daily basis (as outlined in red on the attached map).  The remainder of the roads within these two estates are then cleaned on a weekly basis.   The service is augmented by deploying a clean up crew to work along with the handcart man as required.
