QUESTION: Councillor Colm Brophy

"To ask the Manager to ensure the replacement and pruning of trees on Templeville Road as many of these are in need of replacement and pruning?"

REPLY:

Templeville Road is listed for tree pruning and some tree removals as part of the current Arboricultural Programme which is ongoing until March. This programme of tree planting, pruning and removals was presented to the elected members at the meeting of Terenure Rathfarnham Area Committee on 8th January, 2008.   Replacement tree planting will be undertaken as part of the 2008/09 Arboricultural Programme between November 2008 and March 2009.
