QUESTION: Councillor J. Lahart

  

"To ask the Manager for an update in relation to Item ID 13031 submitted in respect of apartments in Rathfarnham Village?"

REPLY:

The open spaces separating these apartment developments, Castlecourt and The Laurels, appear to be in private ownership, and the necessary enquiries to establish the details of the registered owners were initiated. However, our enquiries did not succeed in finding any officially registered owners.

Further investigation is underway at present, and the relevant parties will be advised that they should address the issue of the maintenance of the open space and in particular, the boundary wall issue. It is expected that the necessary information will be available to allow the Council to follow up this matter very shortly.
