PROPOSED DISPOSAL OF THE PROPERTY AT 6 Montpelier Court, Tallaght, Dublin 24

South Dublin County Council agreed to the surrender of a one bedroom apartment at 6 Montpelier Court, Tallaght, Dublin 24 from Anthony Leydon on the 5^th October 2007 due to the aforementioned borrower defaulting on repayment of his Council loan. The property was placed for sale on the open market by Lowe and Associates Estate Agents in October 2007, the highest offer received was made by Ms Monia Galardi, of 32 Rossecourt Way, Lucan, Co Dublin in the sum of €130,000.00.  

It is now proposed to dispose of the Council’s interest in the property at 6 Montpelier Court, Tallaght Dublin 24 to Ms Monia Galardi, of 32 Rossecourt Way, Lucan, Co Dublin for the sum of €130,000.

The consent of the council to this disposal is sought in accordance with S88 of the Housing Act 1966 subject to the provisions of S183 of the Local Government Act 2001 as amended.
