QUESTION: Councillor C. Keane

"To ask the Manager for an update on FAUGHS GAA disposal and if the letter of comfort has been issued, and if it will be finalized at the February Council Meeting?"

REPLY:

Terms for the lease of an additional area of land at Tymon Park adjacent to the Faughs GAA Club's existing premises have now been agreed with the Club and it is proposed to present a report on the proposed disposal to the February meeting of the Council, for the consideration of the members.

A letter of consent to enable the Club to submit an application for Sports Capital Funding in respect of development of an all weather pitch and ball wall on these lands has been issued to the Club recently.
