 Climate Change Submission - Group Update

REPLY:

Following agreement at the November 2007 SPC meeting, contact was made with Codema, the company involved with Dublin City Council in developing their Climate Change Strategy. This company will not be available to meet the sub group of the Committee until late February.

Given the experience of CODEMA in their involvement with the other Dublin Authorities it is felt that their ability to reflect a regional perspective to the process would be valuable in the development of a South Dublin Strategy.

A group/sub-committee will be convened for the purposes of dealing with this matter when CODEMA are available to proceed with same. In the meantime an awareness programme is being developed for the Committee on the subject of Climate Change.
