"To ask the Manager if there is a Planning Application to build homes on dedicated public open space and maintained by the Council at the end of St. Mels Avenue Greenhills and to state that the residents on the Avenue are totally opposed to any development on this site for many reasons?"

A planning application was received on 12th December 2007 from Landsdowne Francs Properties Ltd., for a proposed developed at St. Mel’s Avenue, Greenhills, Dublin 12 as follows:

6 No. 3 bedroom two storey terraced houses with access from St. Mel’s Avenue along with all other ancillary site development works and boundary treatments.

This application has been validated and full documents for this application will thereafter be available on the Council website www.southdublin.ie on or before Friday December 20th 2007.

A decision on this application is due on or before 14th February 2008 and submissions will be accepted up to close of business on 24th January 2008.
