MOTION: Councillor M. Ardagh

"That the Manager report on the ongoing monitoring of noise and pollution at the Yard at the rear of Muckross Avenue and to say what the findings are."

REPORT:

The Principal Environmental Health Officer has reported that previous monitoring of this location, from the home of one of the residents adjacent to the builders yard, failed to establish an air pollution or noise pollution nuisance.

The Environmental Health Department has recently purchased new monitoring equipment and proposes to carry out additional monitoring early in the New Year to establish an up to date position.
