QUESTION NO. 6
QUESTION: Councillor J. Lahart
"To ask the Manager to list the groups and organisations from the locality that utilise Rathfarnham Castle and the Pearse Museum?"
REPLY:
Rathfarnham Castle and the Pearse Museum are both administered by the Office of Public Works who should be able to provide assistance in detailing the groups utilising these buildings. Rathfarnham Castle Park is administered by South Dublin County Council and is used for informal and passive recreation by local residents, the wider community and visitors to the Castle. The former Seismograph House within the grounds of the Rathfarnham Castle Park is leased by the Council to the Tree Council of Ireland for use as their office headquarters.
