QUESTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"To ask the Manager to update the members on the re-alignment of the Knocklyon Road, to include anticipated contract times etc?"

REPLY:

South Dublin County Council will commence prequalification of Contractors for the realignment of the Knocklyon Road in early December. The prequalification period is 36 days. Following qualification the applicants will be invited to tender for the scheme and the tender period is 40 days. Following assessment of the tender the successful Contractor will be appointed. The contract will be of 1 year duration.
