QUESTION: Councillor M. Corr

"To ask the Manager to remove without any further delay the graffiti that has been evident in and around the Jobstown playground for many weeks now, to outline how he will ensure a speedier response to this problem if it occurs going forward and to investigate the possibility of providing a mural in the playground designed and worked by local children and young people?"

REPLY:

The Parks Department is currently arranging the removal of the graffiti using cleaning materials specifically developed for graffiti removal and it is hoped to have the problem resolved shortly. The possibility of providing a mural in the playground with the involvement of local children and young people will also be investigated.
