MOTION: Councillor C. King

"That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for the handover of the Community Facility on Deerpark Road to Circle VHA on behalf of Kiltipper Management Company with immediate effect, with a view to the Community being able to avail of this facility as it has been lying vacant for almost three years and is attracting anti-social elements to the area".

REPORT:

Ownership of the Creche / Community facility at Deerpark has not yet passed to the Council but the required legal procedures are at an advanced stage. Following transfer of ownership to the Council the necessary arrangements for the management of the facility by Circle Voluntary Housing Association will be put in place.
