Report on Public Consultation Procedure under Part 8 of the Planning & Development Act,2000 and the Planning and Development Regulations,2001 - 2007 for the installation of two mezzanine floors, lifts /stairs and ancillary sanitary facilities to a Retail Unit at Block "F",Tallaght Cross East, Town Centre,Tallaght, Dublin 24.
REPORT ON PART 8 OF THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT ACT, 2000 AND THE PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS 2001 – 2007.
INSTALLATION OF TWO MEZZANINE FLOORS, LIFTS, STAIRS AND ANCILLARY SANITARY FACILITIES TO A RETAIL UNIT AT BLOCK “F” TALLAGHT CROSS EAST.
The following Report was considered at the Tallaght area Committee Meeting (2) on Monday, 22nd October, 2007.
“ Report on Public Consultation Procedure under Part 8 of the Planning & Development Act, 2000 and the Planning and Development Regulations, 2001-2007 for the installation of two mezzanine floors, lifts/stairs and ancillary sanitary facilities to a retail unit at Block “F”, Tallaght Cross East, Town Centre, Tallaght, Dublin 24”
Part 8 of the Local Government Planning and Development Regulations, 2001-2007 prescribes the requirements in respect of certain classes of Local Authority Developments. These Regulations apply to the proposal to:-
Public Consultation Process.
The proposal was advertised in the Irish Independent on the 9th July, 2007, in accordance with Part 8 of the Planning and Development Regulations, 2001-2007 and was on public display at South Dublin County Council offices:-
County Hall, Town Centre, Talalght, Dublin 24.
Civic Offices, Clondalkin, Dublin 22.
From Tuesday, 10th July, 2007 to Monday 20th August, 2007.
Any person wishing to make a submission or observation with respect to the proposed development dealing with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area in which the development is situated was invited to do so. the latest date for receipt of submissions was up and including 5.00 p.m. Monday, 3rd September, 2007.
Submissions Received.
No Submissions received to the proposal.
Recommendation.
The proposed works are consistent with the proper planning and sustainable development of the area having regard to the zoning and specific local objectives of the Development Plan, 2004-2010. it is recommended that the development works as proposed be proceeded with.
The recommendation of the committee will be brought to the County Council Meeting for decision”
Following consideration of the Report it was recommended by the Committee that the development as advertised should be proceeded with.
The proposed works are consistent with proper planning and sustainable development of the area having regard to the Development Plan 2004-2010. Accordingly, it is now proposed to proceed with the development works as proposed.
