QUESTION: Councillor T. McDermott

"To ask the manager to reinstate the coverings of the surface drain on the walk / cycle underpass at the Balrothery end of the M50/N81 intersection. The absence of covers makes this dangerous for pushchairs and cyclists - particularly after dark?"

REPLY:

The gratings covering the drainage channels were removed by vandals. Road maintenance staff are in the process of providing replacements.
