QUESTION: Councillor M. Corr

"To ask the Manager to focus the attention of the Litter Warden on a number of privately rented houses at * Details supplied as there is persistent and significant illegal dumping occurring which has been reported to myself on several occasions?"

REPLY:

The Litter Warden for the Tallaght area has been asked to investigate the illegal dumping in the area referred to in the question. The Warden will try to obtain evidence that identifies the offenders and if this can be achieved enforcement action under the Litter Pollution Act 1997 will then be taken.
