QUESTION NO. 3
QUESTION: Councillor M. Corr
"To ask the Manager how many additional staff have been allocated to supplement the current staff numbers in estate management roles and on the antisocial team in the Tallaght area with the significant growth in numbers of South Dublin County Council owned housing developments such as Fortunestown B etc?"
REPLY:
There has been no increase in staff in the Estate Management or Anti-Social Sections. However, the Council has been able to divert resources through successes gained in a number of estates throughout the county. In addition, the Council's proactive four-pillar approach to dealing with anti-social behaviour, prevention, enforcement, support and rehabilitation, ensures a focused approach to the overall estate management/anti-social functions and makes optimum use of available resources.
