(i) Report of Regional Meeting hosted by Fingal County Council held on 24th September, 2007.

REPORT:

The Local Authorities in the Greater Dublin Region - Fingal, Meath, Dublin City, South Dublin, Dun Laoghaire Rathdown, Kildare and Wicklow came together to discuss the Environmental Report for the Strategic Environmental Assessment of the Greater Dublin Strategic Drainage Strategy. The consultants for the Project - Mott MacDonald Pettit Ltd and ERM Limited presented the report. The purpose of the joint SPC was to enable the local authorities to express any views they had and to comment on the consultation approach in advance of the report going on public display.

Following the presentation there were questions and discussion regarding the report. It goes on public display from 1st October and will be on display for two months. The consultation will enable further discussion and submissions to be made
