MOTION: Councillor M. Corr

"That this Committee calls on the Minister for Justice to immediately take up the offer of a site for a new Garda station in Citywest/Fortunestown, to explore the possibility for funding this by the sale of part of the land in the Department's ownership in the Town centre and to award divisional status to the future City of Tallaght without delay."

REPORT:

If the motion is passed the matter will be referred the Minister of Justice for his attention and when a reply is received the Committee will be notified accordingly.
