QUESTION: Councillor E. Walsh

"To ask the Manager to deal with the serious littering problem at the rear of the houses backing onto Tymon North Park adjacent to the pedestrian foot bridge over the M50 motorway which is causing great annoyance to users of the park?"

REPLY:

The Litter Warden for the area which incorporates Tymon Park has been requested to inspect the area referred to and to monitor the location over a period of time. The Litter Warden will attempt to identify the source of the litter and will take enforcement action if a source is found. He will also arrange for the area to be cleaned as necessary.
