QUESTION: Councillor M. Ardagh

"To ask the Manager to repair the piers and replace the caps on the boundary walls between Glendown Road and Cypress Downs which have fallen into disrepair?"

REPLY:

Much of the wall to which the question refers forms a boundary between the public road (Glendown) and private properties. As such it is the responsibility of the house owners to maintain these walls. A portion of the wall at the end of the cul-de-sac "The Heath" seperates two roadways and is in the charge of The Council. We have requested that our Maintenance depot carry out the necessary repairs to this section of the wall.
