MOTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"That the Manager includes the seriously dangerous junction of Sarah Curran Avenue and Whitechurch Road in any traffic calming proposals for the Whitechurch Road."

REPORT:

This junction is included in the Whitechurch Road safety study. A consultant has been appointed and a preliminary design is being advanced.  This study will examine possible options to improve road safety along Whitechurch Road.  It is envisaged that the consultants report will be completed during the Summer 2007 following which the matter will be brought to Part 8 public consultation.
