MOTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"That the Manager takes steps to re-locate the bring banks at Whitechurch Shopping Centre to a more discrete location and to engage with traders with a view to improving the appearance of the centre."

REPORT:

The Council has previously been in communication with the management company of the shopping centre and will discuss this matter with the company again in the near future with a view to achieving a possible better location or a realignment within the Centre for the Bring Banks .

The Council has also been in touch with the service provider of the recycling facilities with regard to regular servicing of the plastic and glass facilities there. The Council’s Litter Warden will also visit the area and contact the Cleansing Unit to ensure that the area is litter free.
