MOTION: Councillor M. Árdagh

"That the Manager give a report on the expected completion date of the Community Centre in Whitechurch and to ask when it will be possible for the Building Committee to visit the site."

REPORT

The Housing Development, together with the Community Facility, at Whitechurch is due to be completed in December 2007 by the Contractor. A site visit could be arranged for local Councillors, together with the local Building Committee, to visit the building nearer to its anticipated completion date. The Council would need to agree the visit with the Contractor at that time, as the area would still be a building site and Health and Safety considerations would prevail.
