QUESTION: Councillor E. Walsh

"To ask the Manager to arrange enforcement of the 3 Ton Traffic restriction though Greenpark and on Limekiln Road as the signs are in place but are being ignored and to ask if buses for St. Pauls School which use this route are exempt as they are using this route to the school which is unsuitable?"

REPLY:

The enforcement of 3-tonne traffic restrictions is a matter for the Gardai, and the matter will be brought to their attention with a request that the restriction be enforced at the above locations. School buses would be entitled to access the restricted route if they are picking up or setting down passengers within the area.
