MOTION: Councillor M. Árdagh

"That the Manager raise the kerb on the newly designed roundabout at junction of Templeville Road and Cypress Grove Road to stop cars driving up onto it and destroying it."

REPORT:

The recently completed landscaping scheme carried out by Parks Department on the Templeville / Cypress Grove roundabout did not involve any alterations to the existing kerb. Reconstruction of the kerb would involve revisions to the landscaping and also the road surface.  Roads Department have no plans at present to replace the existing kerb. The possibility of painting on black and yellow delineation markings will be explored.
