MOTION: Councillor C. King

"That this Committee calls on the Manager to arrange for a major investigation to be carried out on the sewer and drainage system from 29-34 Knockmore Park with a view to the necessary and appropriate works to be carried out to ensure the constant flooding of gardens and the Road becomes a thing of the past as this ongoing problem has serious public health implications".

REPORT

Recent flooding on Knockmore Park resulted following site investigations which were carried out for an infill development at the location.  The matter has been referred to the Architects Department which has reported that the Consultant Engineers for the project will carry out works to alleviate the flooding problem in the coming weeks.
