QUESTION:  Councillor J. Lahart

"To ask the Manager what action has been taken in relation to the illegal dumping from an anti-soical behaviour point of view at Whitechurch Place recently which was reported to Management?"

REPLY:

This matter has been investigated by the Litter Warden. The Warden reports that he has called to and spoken with the owner of the affected property.  He has agreed to provide materials which will assist the owners in cleaning their property and he has also offered an arrangement to have the collected waste removed by the Council’s cleansing section.  The Warden has been unable to identify the offenders in this instance and therefore has been unable to date to take enforcement action.  He has advised the resident accordingly.  He has left his contact details with the resident for future reference.
