"To ask the Manager for a full update on all aspects of the works required at Whitechurch Stream?"
REPLY:
Road name signs have been ordered and will be erected on delivery.
Surface water gullies not yet installed. Ongoing monitoring however has shown that the existing drainage system is operating successfully.
All paving and kerbing works have been completed.
Watermain works have completed.
Fencing. Parks Department have proposed to construct a fence perpendicular to the stream to close off the area. The area of land enclosed will then be planted with suitable shrubs and trees. It is proposed to carry out this work in April / May 2007.
