MOTION: Councillor J. Lahart

"That the Manager address the issue of responsilbility for grass verges within the county and how enforcement is to be pursued where grass margins have been ploughed up and left unrecovered"

REPORT:

The following is a standard condition on all Planning Permissions :-

'' The applicant shall maintain all footpaths and roads affected by the development works in a safe and tidy condition to the satisfaction of the Area Engineer.''

Arrangements are in hands to carry out periodic inspections of development works to ensure compliance with this condition.
