QUESTION: Councillor C. Keane

"To ask the Manager to report on progress of the county wide footpath survey

 - who is carrying out the survey in house or contracted out?

 - to state when you expect it to be finalized?

 - (b) when you expect to be in a position to make recommendations on various repairs

           (1.) as illustrated by survey 

           (2.) as requested by councillors - i.e. if requests and survey do not tally?"

REPLY:

(a)   The county wide footpath condition survey is currently being undertaken by Council staff.

                  

(b)   Upon completion of the survey the results will be presented to the members for consideration and a schedule of repairs agreed dependant on the gravity of the existing condition.
