QUESTION: Councillor M. Murphy

"To ask the Manager, can the Planning Department  contact the builder of the two houses built at the Maplewood Road end of Maplewood Park as per SD05A/0183 to repair the green area at that location?"

REPLY:

Planning permission was granted on 17 August 2005 for “2 no. 2 storey attached houses and 2 no. vehicular accesses at the side” on lands at 2, Maplewood Park, Springfield, Tallaght, Dublin 24 (Register reference SD05A/0183 refers).

A complaint was received in Planning Enforcement on 22 February 2007 concerning damage caused to the green space adjacent to the development, allegedly as a result of the construction works taking place pursuant to the grant of planning permission.  This matter is currently under investigation.  The Councillor will be kept informed as this investigation progresses.
