QUESTION: Councillor M. Daly

"To ask the manager will he install a set of Kissing gates at the pedestrian entrance to the new development off the N81 onto Maplewood Avenue?"

REPLY:

A pedestrian passageway has been provided from Maplewood Avenue to the adjoining N81. A barrier has been provided along the kerb line of the N81 so as to prevent direct access by pedestrians to the N81 carriageway. There are no plans to provide gates at the entrance.
