QUESTION: Councillor E. Walsh

"To ask the Manager to clarify the situation in Landsdowne Park regarding the collection of green bins as there seems to be no dedicated day for collection and residents are totally confused?"

REPLY:

The residents of Landsdowne Park were due to have their green bins collected on 5^th February according to their Green bin schedules supplied to them by Oxigen Environmental Ltd.,the Council’s contractor. However Oxigen has reported that their truck ran out of capacity on that day before reaching the Landsdowne Park area and it was necessary for the truck to return to the depot. Oxigen provided a green bin collection service the following day to those green bins that were left out in Landsdowne Park and which had not received a collection.

The Landsdowne Park estate is due a Green Bin collection again on 5^th March.
